A surprise to us all

It has now been 2 years since we returned from our mission to the Canada Montreal Mission.  We loved our time in Sherbrooke and we love and miss the people whom we will always call family. They are a part of our heart. 

A new adventure is now on the horizon.  We received our call on March 29, 2018 and were instructed to report Aug 7, 2018.

It was really a surprise and even though the destination was thrown around a lot...  we really didn't expect to be called to the Kiev, Ukraine Temple!!!   We were blown away.

Early in the waiting process when everything was pointing to the London Temple, I often said....   If we don't go to the London Temple there is a really good reason why.   It will be part of our new adventure to find out what the Lord has in store for us and get to learn and love the people and land of Ukraine.

We are now one month away from arriving  in Kiev, Ukraine.  We are excited to be entering this new adventure.  We have talked to many people both here and there about the country, the people, and the temple.  We know that this is going to be an experience that will bless our lives and bring us closer to our Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ.   We are going for the distinct purpose of serving Them and the people that They have sent us to serve.  We look forward to learning and growing spiritually and culturally.  This is a part of the world that we have not known much about, but we are excited to learn.

I can not promise how the blog will progress...  but I hope that I will be able to keep you up to date on our adventure.
